Dive Desk is excited to work with Ministry of Tourism to mark the World Tourism Day 2017 with a Try Dive Event at Male' Swimming Track on 15 October 2017. Several Dive Centers in the Male' region came together for the occasion to provide assistance for the Try Dive Event targeted to students from colleges and universities in Male’.
The event was organized with the aim to familiarize students in higher education about the diving industry and create their interest in this field where there are relevant career opportunities to work within the tourism industry. The theme for the World Tourism Day 2017 as decided by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is Sustainable Tourism: A Tool for Development.
