At Dive Desk, we cherish every opportunity to inspire divers to take action for ocean health. Recently, we were thrilled to partner with State Trading Organization Plc to teach the Project AWARE Specialty Course to staff who had just completed their PADI Open Water Diver course with us.

About Project AWARE

Project AWARE® is a global nonprofit organization partnered with PADI for over 30 years, mobilizing divers to protect underwater environments. Focused on marine debris and shark and ray protection, the movement empowers thousands of divers in more than 182 countries to take action for clean, healthy, and abundant oceans.
From monitoring and protecting dive sites to achieving conservation wins for vulnerable species, every action counts. Changing one person’s behavior creates ripple effects that contribute to a collective positive impact. We hope this specialty course motivates divers to take individual responsibility, share knowledge with friends and family, and create lasting change for ocean conservation.
