Dive Desk was proud to participate in the Male’ Swimming Track Clean-Up, organized by Bank of Maldives on 24 February 2018. Alongside removing debris from the area, our team helped segregate and weigh the collected trash. In just four hours, volunteers amassed 187 kg of waste, including 492 plastic bottles, 249 aluminum cans, and 310 plastic bags.

We encourage all PADI professionals and divers to combine their love for underwater adventure with meaningful action for marine conservation, taking “fins on” steps to address ocean threats such as pollution and habitat destruction.
