Maldivian Academy of Diving Achieves Platinum PADI Instructor Development Center Status in 2024

Maldivian Academy of Diving celebrates Platinum PADI Professional Development Excellence Award 2024 with certificate and eBadge.

In its very first year since inauguration, the Maldivian Academy of Diving proudly achieved the Platinum PADI Professional Development Excellence Award 2024. This recognition reflects the dedication of Dive Desk in 2023, whose commitment to world-class training laid the foundation for this milestone.

This Frequent Trainer Award recognizes exceptional contributions to professional-level scuba education. With the Academy established in February 2024 as the specialized branch of Dive Desk for instructor development, this prestigious credential was officially transferred to the Academy.

As the only Platinum PADI Instructor Development Center in the Maldives—and one of just ten in the EMEA region—the Academy sets new benchmarks in professional scuba training. This milestone places the Maldives firmly on the map as a hub for dive education, proving that students here are learning at an institution among the very best worldwide.
