Dive Desk Joins Project Damage Control for Rasfannu Clean-Up

Dive Desk is happy to contribute to the initiative by the young people at Project Damage Control and UWC Maldives to clean Male' Rasfannu Area on 23 February 2018. This is part of a weekly clean up of swimming areas in Male', under the social action project for the Commonwealth Change-makers programme. They work to increase awareness among the public about the dangers of throwing waste in the ocean and littering in general, and believe that our ocean is a blessing and that all should be able to enjoy the beauty without it being marred by the waste that has accumulated in our swimming spots.

We encourage all the PADI professionals we train and our divers to connect their passion for ocean adventure with a purpose for marine conservation. We encourage them to take 'fins on' action for the ocean and tackle ocean threats like marine pollution and habitat destruction.
