Jellyfish

Below the surface drift a jellyfish pulsing rhythmically, its bell as delicate as hand-blown glass, shimmering with soft hues of pink and blue that catch the light in fleeting flashes through the water. Juvenile fish hover close, sheltered within its stinging veil. They dart in and out, scavenging drifting prey, perfectly adapted to its fragile orbit. Though delicate, these medusae are vital couriers of nutrients, transferring energy from the open sea to the reef below. In its serene drift lies a quiet ballet of survival and exchange—nature’s choreography in motion.
